In the past decade, there has been spurt in information technology available to common man at affordable prices. The pedagogy has to inevitably keep pace with these developments. What are the new technological options available that can be practically applied in our classrooms? What are the prospects and what are the constraints involved? How teacher training could be modified and improved to play a constructive role in the changing classroom scenario?
Calicut University Teacher Education Centre (CUTEC), Calicut has decided to take an initiative in organizing a seminar on these important issues in order to prepare ourselves while stepping into the Hitech classrooms.
